Butterflies

Our Butterflies class supports younger toddlers in developing language, motor skills, and self-care through active play, art, and nature exploration, with a daily schedule that includes one nap on cots instead of cribs.

Robins

The Robins class engages older toddlers in fine motor skill activities, creative group lessons, and nature-inspired play, while fostering independence and beginning potty training.

Badgers

Our Badgers class for early preschool fosters imaginative play, early math, and science exploration, with a focus on social, emotional, and individualized learning through engaging themes like "Holes" and "Dirt."

Bears

Our Bears class for preschoolers dives into early literacy, math, and science through hands-on exploration and nature play, with a focus on letter recognition, rhyming, and student-led discovery.

Eagles

The Eagles class prepares students for Kindergarten with a focus on language, math, and STEAM through projects on ecology, social justice, and environmental stewardship, fostering curiosity and respect for nature.

Our Approach

At New Frontiers Preschool, we celebrate every child's innate curiosity through hands-on, play-based learning in a nurturing, joyful environment. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we integrate nature, exploration, and creativity into everyday activities, ensuring your child thrives academically, socially, and emotionally. Our highly engaged teachers guide children toward key developmental milestones, emphasizing individualized growth and school readiness. At New Frontiers, learning is joyful, meaningful, and child-led - exactly as early childhood education should be.

What Parents Think

"Such a wonderful and nurturing learning environment! My son is two and attends two days a week. He really loves going to school! The teachers are kind, caring, patient, and provide best practice in their classrooms. My son has had so many learning opportunities (academic and socially) from field trips to the farm next door, hikes on the nature trail, a visiting PE teacher, banging a gong in music class, painting, learning to make transitions, sitting for story time, and sharing with others. We are so lucky to have this preschool in Grafton!"
